How to play…

This game is suitable for 2- 4 players. Each player needs to roll the dice, move a counter that number of spots and then say then say the number they land on. The first player to reach the finish wins

Extension activities…

1.Players can use counters to count the amount they land on.

2.Players can count on from the number they land on e.g. if a play lands on 4, they can count “4…5, 6, 7, 8, 9″ etc.

3.Players can say the number before and after the number they land on e.g. “One less than 4 is 3, one more than 4 is 5”.

Number Mats: Writing Numbers (0-10)

These number mats help kids to write the numbers 0 to 10.

How to Play

Choose a number mat to focus on. Kids need to say the number on the mat and count the dots on the ten frame. Next, they need to trace the numbers with an erasable marker.

The scarecrow number mat helps kids to write all of the numbers in order from 0 to 10.

Tip – I find regular washable markers wipe off easily with a damp cloth.
