Dinosaur Number Activities for Kids (0 to 30)
These dinosaur number activities help kids to develop their counting and number recognition skills. The focus is on numbers 0 to 30, so they’re great for kids in Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten.
Dinosaur Math Activities – Numbers 0 to 30
I love the following dinosaur activities for helping kids to learn about numbers up to 30. They come in different variations up to 10, 20 and 30 so differentiating learning for your kiddos is super easy!

Dinosaur Number Worksheets
All of the number activities included are low prep. So you only require a few basic materials such as pencils, crayons and bingo daubers if you have them. They cover a range of skills such as counting, number recognition and ordering numbers (before and after).
Number Workbook – I recently added a set of number formation worksheets so that the kids can work on numbers 0 to 30 individually. You can staple these to the cover page to create a number workbook (see below).

I love using the counting dinosaur (shown below) as an assessment piece. It looks really cute in the kid’s portfolios and it’s fun to do. If you don’t want to use craft match sticks, the kids can paint the spikes instead.

Number Formation Worksheet
You may like the following number formation worksheet for helping kids learn to write numbers up to ten.
Preparation – Print the worksheet and grab some pencils or crayons. Alternatively put the worksheet in a dry erase pocket sleeve so the kids can trace the numbers with an erasable marker.
How to Play – First read the number in the egg. Then place the pencil on the starting dot and trace the number.
