Monster Measurement Cards

These monster measurement cards help kids learn to measure using non-standard units such as cubes. They’re a fun addition to Pre-K, Preschool and Kindergarten math or Halloween centers.

Monster Measurement Activities

Preparation – Start by printing and laminating the measurement cards for added durability. Next collect an assortment of non-standard measurement units such as cubes, counting bears, paper clips and counting links.

How to Play – Begin by selecting a measurement card and a non-standard measurement unit such as cubes. Then place the cubes along the line so that there are no gaps. After that, determine the length of the line by counting the number of cubes. Finally, write the length of the black line in the box using an erasable marker.
