Snowman Letter Tracing Mats
Kids will love learning to write letters with these cute snowman letter tracing mats. They’re a perfect addition to an alphabet center in preschool or kindergarten.
Snowman Letter Tracing Mats
These alphabet mats come in both a color or a black line version. The black line version is perfect if you need to save your color ink. You can make it more fun by printing it on colored paper.
Write and Wipe Letter Tracing
Preparation – Print and laminate the letter tracing mats for added durability. Alternatively, you can put them in a dry erase pocket. I ordered mine online from eBay, I’m pretty sure Amazon and Dollar Tree sells them too. Once you’ve prepped the mats, you’ll need to grab an erasable marker and a damp cloth to clean the mats afterwards.
How to Play – Begin by reading the letters on the mat while singing the alphabet song. Next trace each letter with an erasable maker. Encourage the kids to start where the dot is, so that they can learn the correct letter formation. After they’ve traced all of the letters wipe the mat clean.
Magnetic Letter Matching
Preparation – Grab the letter tracing mats and some magnetic letters. I like to put the 26 lower case letters in one basket and the upper case letters in another basket.
How to Play – Begin by choosing a letter mat to focus on. Next read the letters on the mat while singing the alphabet song. After that match the magnetic letters to the letters on the mat.
